Jade Lewis
Jade is an Emmy nominated producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has been featured on Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, STARZ, AppleTV+, and Disney+.
A career that began in independent filmmaking, Jade has since explored commercial, digital, narrative, and—most extensively— documentary production. With a background in production management and research, she is a producer uniquely suited for both technical and creative roles.
She recently worked with Firelight Films on Stanley Nelson and Nicole London’s PBS/ITVS documentary feature, WE WANT THE FUNK! An Emmy nominated film covering the inherently syncopated journey through the history of funk music which celebrated its global premiere at Doc Fortnight in 2025. The film took home the Pan African Film Festival’s Programmers’ Award for Feature Documentary.
Additionally, Jade was an integral part of the development and pre-production for the Emmy nominated three part series, Murder Has Two Faces, made for ABC News Studios under Cortes Filmworks, as well as a key producer on season two of the STARZ hit documentary series, BMF: Blowing Money Fast, under Jigsaw Productions.
Most recently, she assisted in producing a leg of recreation for Knife: The Attempted Murder of Salman Rushdie under Alex Gibney at Jigsaw Productions.
